365Mag Interview: Underworld

(Amsterdam, NL) – Name one electronic band that comes to mind for having an undisputed live reputation and you’ll most likely end up mentioning Underworld. For many years now, vocalist Karl Hyde and producer Rock Hyde have made waves with a plethora of stunning EP releases, albums, and top-of-the-bill live gigs, filling the gap between underground electronics and more traditional music of all kinds.

Starting out as a rock band in the late eighties, the outfit shot to fame after switching to a more electronic-based approach, eventually resulting in the groundbreaking epic anthem Born Slippy. Ever since, Underworld has evolved in a highly respected outfit with sold out performances worldwide, and side projects including movie soundtracks and forming the creative core of their advertising agency Tomato. Fresh from rocking the roof of the Dutch Heineken Music Hall, 365Mag teamed up with the duo for an exclusive interview.
