(London, UK) – At this time of year, many of us decide that we’re going to stay in for a month, recharge our batteries (and bank accounts) after the New Years madness and generally chill out. However, those wily promoters keep booking those quality DJs, and nowhere puts on a better January session than Bugged Out! Erol Alkan returns, as does new kid Brodinski, plus the Horse Meat Disco boys throw in a little shade too…
Bugged Out! is one of those clubs where fashion meets funk, clubbers meet gig-goes and it all goes wonderfully (or terribly ) wrong. Friendships are made, kisses are exchanged, and some really great tunes are dropped, all in the environs of the mighty End.
That’s the way it’s going down on Saturday 19 January, when Bugged Out! returns with a typically brilliant January line-up. They’ve got the main room rocking with their favourite DJ Erol Alkan returning for the first time since July (he’s a busy many these days, remixing for all and sundry), Dusty Kid playing live and Bad Runner man Brodinski too. There’s also Nottingham’s Riotous Rockers knocking out the rave in the End’s panoramic DJ booth as well.
Over in the Lounge, there’s top tuneage from another ace remixer, Nightmoves, while We’re Not Cool display the form that won the Bugged Out! DJ completion with another appearance (after an ace warm-up session for Herve a while back). But most importantly there’s the Severino and Jim Stanton from the epic Horse Meat Disco Sunday session, who’ll be rocking until dawn as they bring a new sound to club’s dance-floor for one night only. And with Luke Soloman’s Little Creatures session getting going over in AKA, this is one January sale it’s worth being in the queue for…
