One year ago, Us Weekly broke sales records by putting Janet Jackson on the cover with the headline, “How I Got Thin.” OK, I get this because she freakishly gained a bunch of weight seemingly overnight, and then freakishly lost all of it seemingly overnight. That’s something I want to read about. But this week, Janet Jackson graces the cover of US Weekly again next to a headline that says, “How I Kept It Off.” I will be the first to admit my obesession with the magazine, but man, I’m going to call LAME on this cover. So Janet still has abs of steel? Of course she does. She’s JANET JACKSON. I really hope we don’t see another one of these covers in 2008 with the headline, “I’m Still Thin.”
