If Destiny’s Child videos ever left you thinking that Kelly Rowland seems like a really nice girl, you’re right — she is. Kelly couldn’t have been any sweeter when she dropped by our New York office this week. While we talked fashion and star style, I was tempted to spill
all
the business and ask if she wanted to hang out this weekend. Alas, I had to retain some modicum of professionalism. But I did uncover these little nuggets during our chat: 1. Justin’s recent tour was so hot that it brought her to tears. 2. She felt ’02’s ‘Simply Deep’ was rushed, so the upcoming ‘Miss Kelly’ was recorded over a span of 18 months. 3. Sorry, haters. The ladies of D.C. really do like each other. While in NY, Kelly planned on hanging out with “B” (that’s Beyonce to us common folk) to help her de-stress for her ‘B’Day’ tour. ‘Miss Kelly’ hits on June 26. Until then, listen to her new song, ‘Like This,’ and tell us if you smell a hit.
