Klaxons Tipped for Chart Success

Myths of the Near Future, the debut album by The Klaxons, which lifted the 2007 Mercury Music Prize last week, is being tipped to re-enter the top 20 after a 486 per cent rise in sales but it not expected to overtake follow nominees Amy Winehouse with Back to Black and Arctic Monkeys with Favourite Worst Nightmare.

Fionn Regan (The End of History), Bat For Lashes (Fur and Gold), Maps (We Can Create), Basquiat Strings (Basquiat Strongs with Seb Rochford), The Young Knives (Voices of Animals and Men), Dizzee Rascal (Maths + English), Jamie T (Panic Prevention), New Young Pony Club (Fantastic Playroom) and The View (Hats Off To The Buskers) were the other nomination which have all increased in sales.
