Need2soul Conquers The Cross – With Danny Krivit’s Help

(New York City, USA) – If you like your house music as deep as a particularly soulful subway, then you’ve probably heard of Need2soul already. But if you haven’t, now’s the perfect time to make the discovery, as one of the best deep house nights in London comes to The Cross for the first time ever. And their special guest? Oh, just a fellow called Danny Krivit…you know, from Body & Soul (NYC).

Nowadays, it’s even harder to say where the various styles of house end, and where others begin. So let’s not even bother trying to say it, let’s instead look at one of the gems of London’s house scene – if you like house, ‘real house’ as Faith magazine was probably say, you’ll like Need2soul. After all, Danny Krivit doesn’t play for just anybody you know…

On Saturday 13 October, Danny Krivit – the man behind the legendary Body & Soul Sunday sessions in NYC with Francois K and Joe Clausell – comes to The Cross, to celebrate Need2Soul’s first foray into on of London’s favourite house music venues. Need2soul resident Rap Saunders will be warming up for the NYC re-edit king.

Meanwhile, Arch 2 of the club will reverberate to the sound of Jerome Sydenhamm. His DJ style veers from forays into techno and tech-house, then back to a more classic approach, which should compliment his fellow guest, France’s Manoo, of Buzzin’ Fly infamy. Katie Barber, one of UK house’s top ladies, keeps these two cheeky types in order.

Finally, you can also enjoy Domu and Toni Blackbeard, two ace producers who are sure to keep The Cross’ third arch humming to sweet 4/4 all night long. Real house is back – thank God!
